Low Poly Portrait effect | Photoshop Tutorial | Photo effects

For more free photoshop tutorials visit: http://bit.ly/1Q8u7Op

In this Tutorial i will show you how you can create a low poly portrait using photoshop.

Normally to create this effect you need a 3d softwere but with this you fake it just in photoshop. And i am going to use image from deviantart.com so if you want to use the same image, check out that download link right below.

As you can see that i have selected an image that is symmetrical so that i just have to do the half part of it and then i can just flip it to the other side and i will be good to go.

One more important advise is that do not stick with triangle polygones try using square or even pentagon if you need it. It will make your work process and final output way simple and beautiful. and also in this tutorial i will not make the whole effect i done have time for that, will take like hours .

Plus , do not expect your low poly portrait to become awesome in just one try, it will take a lot more then that, so just keep on trying until it becomes awesome. i will also show you hot to create custom background once finish the portrait so that it looks even better.

Don’t stick with portraits of humans only, try doing objects or animals or birds something like that, once you learn it how to do it properly it looks really beautiful everywhere, you can even crate low poly backgrounds with it and it will look awesome.

So, I hope you learned something from this photoshop tutorial and as always if you have any questions feel free to ask me in the comments, and have some fun with photoshop 🙂
