In this Adobe Lightroom tutorial, we’ll look at adjusting this wide angle lens-shot in the bright noonday summer sun so we can get a really cool looking photo and save details in the harsh highlights and shadows. We’ll use Camera Calibration to expand the photo a little, run the tones and colors with Curves, bounce the highlights and shadows around with our basic corrections, touch on the sharpening, adding some midtone punchiness, and even how I handle the lens correction issues of shooting at 17mm.

How to Make a Custom Photo Look with Lightroom CC | Adobe Creative Cloud
Learn how to edit a photo to give it a new look. Then, create a preset from those settings to apply your favorite style to other photos.
Start from scratch, or download practice files [https://learndownload.adobe.com/pub/learn/lightroom-cc/make-custom-photo-look.zip] for a head start. Steps below.
1. Open photo1.jpg in the Lightroom CC desktop app (File – Add Photos).
2. Click the Edit icon from the upper right.
3. Apply a preset: Click Presets from the bottom of the Edit panel. Open the Color preset category and choose "03 - High Contrast".
4. Modify preset settings: Click the Tone Curve icon. Click once on the center of the curve. Drag the far left point up to around 7. Move the Temp (Temperature) slider to +7.
Tip: To add points to the Tone Curve, make sure the RGB Channels option (gray circle) is selected. Click the "Show Original" icon at the bottom (or type "") to show switch between the before and after version.
5. Create new preset: Click the ellipses icon in the Presets panel. Click Create Preset. Type "Warm tones" and click Save.
6. Apply new preset: Open photo2.jpg in Lightroom CC. Choose the new "Warm tones" preset to create a new look for the photo.

How to Make a Custom Brush with Adobe Capture CC | Adobe Creative Cloud
Create a brush from a simple sketch.
Start from scratch, or download practice files [https://learndownload.adobe.com/pub/learn/mobile-apps/make-a-custom-brush.zip] for a head start. Steps below.
Prep your project:
1. Save the practice image (source-image.jpg) provided here to the Camera Roll on your mobile device, or use your own.
2. Download the Adobe Capture CC mobile app from the App Store for your iOS device, or from the Play Store for you Android. Open the app and sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Tap Brushes from the top menu.
Create a custom brush:
1. Tap Brushes from the menu.
2. Tap the image icon at the bottom, then tap Camera Roll.
3. Choose an image from your Camera Roll.
4. Tap areas to erase unwanted marks. Tap the checkmark.
5. Drag the resize handles (white dots) to position the blue box around the part of the image you want to use as the brush.
6. Tap Styles from the main menu.
Tip: For the example in the video, we chose a style in the Photoshop CC & Adobe Sketch Brushes section.
7. Tap Presets. Adjust the Size, Spacing, and other settings as you like. Tap Done, or the right arrow on Android devices.
8. Choose the appropriate Creative Cloud Library. Tap Save.
Apply style in Adobe Photoshop CC:
1. Open artwork in Photoshop.
2. Choose the Brush tool.
3. Choose your new brush from the Libraries panel (Window – Libraries).
4. Use the new brush to enhance your creation.
That's it!
